We’re back with SparkLearn 4.1 — a release driven by real-world feedback, everyday usage, and our relentless obsession with making your learning platform smarter, smoother, and more reliable.

This release isn’t packed with flashy, oversized features. Instead, it’s packed with the kind of thoughtful improvements and bug squashes that make your day a little easier — especially if you're managing content, relying on AI tools, or helping teams on mobile.

Here’s what’s new in 4.1 (and why we think you’ll love it):

🧠 Smarter Cloning, Cleaner Workflows

Cloning just got more powerful. Now, when content managers clone an article or course, they have the option to also include it in the original Group, Course, or Journey — making content reuse way more efficient.

Why it matters: Less time reassigning, more time focusing on what actually matters: training your people.

🤖 Better AI-Generated Images (Yes, Seriously)

We've upgraded from Stable Diffusion to Amazon Titan as our image generation model. That means better visuals, crisper detail, and fewer weird AI artifacts.

Why it matters: Your content deserves images that don’t look like they came from a fever dream. Titan delivers.

📈 xAPI: Cleaner Data, Sharper Insights

We adjusted the xAPI statements for push notifications so that the recipient is now reported in the statement context, rather than the activity definition.

Why it matters: Better data = better reports. And better reports = better business decisions.

📱 Mobile App: Stable, Snappy, and Polished

We made a bunch of targeted updates to improve stability and user experience on mobile, including:

  • Fixed search field behavior on the Assigned tab

  • Fixed clipped completion indicators in lists

  • Fixed podcast loading errors

  • Improved overall stability

  • [Android] Fixed disappearing bottom tabs after searches

🧼 Fixes, Tweaks & Touch-Ups

You spoke. We fixed. Here are a few more behind-the-scenes updates:

  • Slideshow displays now work inside accordions (finally!)

  • Cloned article attachments are now properly accessible

  • Tour message for System Information now highlights the correct menu (tenant owners, we heard you)

  • Xyleme imports now behave better when filenames are missing

  • A typo on the certificates page has been put out of its misery

  • Dashboard prompt styling got a refresh

🪲 Known Issues (Yes, We’re On It)

  • The entity browser currently loses selection when changing pages

  • Glossary terms inside annotations can’t be viewed yet

  • iOS navigation bar titles vanish if text color is too light

We’re already working on these and plan to have them resolved soon.

Built From Your Feedback

Every fix and every tweak in SparkLearn 4.1 came from our customers — real users in the field who told us what needed work. This release is for the admins navigating complex rollouts, the content creators trying to scale quality, and the learners who just want things to work.

We appreciate every bug report, suggestion, and conversation that got us here. Keep them coming.

Let’s keep building SparkLearn together.
